Web Gallery for members' photographs

Do you want to add any of your photographs to an on-line Gallery of the work of our members?

Steve Porter has now set up a gallery and is accepting work from members. The images should be relatively small (in print terms), ideally maximum of 600 x 400 pixels. This size gives a good impression of your work, without it being of a size that can be 'ripped off' by others and used for their own nefarious purposes.

Initially, we are asking for a maximum of three images per member until we get more organized.

If you wish to contribute, please save your favourite images as follows:

Re-size your image to 600 pixels wide (or high, if portrait shape)

Alter the resolution to 72dpi

In Adobe Photoshop, go to File>Save for Web and select "Settings - JPEG High"

Save the optimised image UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME (so that you do not overwrite your original file. (It is sensible to name the file the same as the title of your image).

Repeat as necessary

If you feel unsure about any of the above, just email Steve for further advice.

When you have finished, please send the images as attachments to steve@dataconsultants.co.uk with an email detailing the titles, your name and your qualifications.
