Our earliest trophy is the Richardson Challenge Cup which was awarded for “the highest number of points for prints entered in monthly competitions”. It was first awarded in 1930 to J Weaver and was presented by “His Worship The Mayor William Thomas Richardson” which is engraved on the cup. Richardson was in his last year as Mayor of Stafford at the time. The cup was later won by J D Jones seven times.
