Members of Stafford Photographic Society (SPS) were saddened to learn of the passing of a former member and Past President of the Society, Graham Jones. Graham was a member from the early 1990s until a few years ago when he and his wife Gillian moved down to St Albans.
. He was President of the Society in its Centenary year in 1995. He is remembered for his knowledge and passion for photography and generously gave much of his time to Society interests. (A sample of Grahams work)
Whilst acting as external competition secretary, his diligence and hard work enhanced the quality of selection of images for external competitions. This resulted in a substantially improved successes in both regional and national competitions for the Society. He was acknowledged for his services to the Society by being made an Honorary Life Member.
The members pass on their thoughts and condolences to his wife Gillian, also an active SPS member, and to their family.
