President Howard Bagshaw presents ‘60 years of photography – and still learning’
Howard started taking photographs in his early teens, thanks to his enthusiastic father and a darkroom. Over the years he has dabbled in many aspects of photography, but always taking photos for the fun of it. “Inevitably” he says, “when you take loads of photos, some are worth showing to other people and may even get the odd competition award”. In recent years, his focus has been on Audio Visual (AV), as a way of telling stories with photographs. Now he uses his passion for AV as an excuse to travel with Carole and to meet other photographers from around the world. Tonight’s talk may help explain how Howard got to where he is today.
