Originally a Customer Service Manager, I took early retirement a few years ago, joined Stafford Photographic Society in 2007. I immediately became enthralled and what started off as a hobby soon became a passion.
I am self taught and have, over the past few years, with inspiration and guidance from members of the Society, been developing my skills and a unique collection of original images. Over the years I have achieved an LRPS, ARPS,ABPE & DPAGB.
My images are a mix of coastal scenes, gardens and plants and candid reflections of everyday life capturing a fleeting moment and mood in time. I have always admired the work of the great street photographers Henri Cartier Bresson and Robert Doisneau and have drawn inspiration from them.
I currently use a Digital Compact System camera and a variety of photoshop techniques in post production.
I have had work included in the following exhibitions/publications
Three Counties Open Photography Exhibition – WINNING IN 2018
PAGB -National Print & PDI Championships
Shire Hall Open Art Exhibition
Royal Photographic Society – international projected image exhibition
The London Salon of Photography
The Midland Salon
